NASHVILLE, TN – (June 14, 2016) – Country superstar Blake Shelton’s special relationship with fans and radio continues as his newest single, “She’s Got a Way with Words,” from his chart-topping album "If I’m Honest" has earned the title of most added at country radio this week.

“She’s Got a Way with Words” follows the runaway hit “Came Here to Forget,” which became Shelton's 22nd No 1 Single. The Voice coach fell in love with the new single when he first heard it and held onto it for two years.

“I couldn’t be more excited about it because I think it’s the kind of song that country music is built on,” Shelton said. “It’s just an absolutely no-bones-about-it true, heartbreaking, beer-drinking type lyric. In fact, it’s so true it stings a little bit and at the same time it’s funny. It’s one of the funniest songs I’ve ever heard in my life. We’ve had a chance to play it a few times and each time it’s like the crowd has heard the song their entire life. And that’s always a good sign with any song. I’ve just got a really good feeling about this one.”

If I’m Honest chronicles Shelton's last year and tackles life and love from several different angles. Critics have lauded the LP for its courage and musical adventurousness.

Shelton finished up an amazing run of appearances last week when he tackled the CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival with the help of The Oak Ridge Boys, who appeared with him to perform their song “Doing It to Country Songs” from If I’m Honest. Shelton also made a surprise appearance for the second annual Beers on Blake event and performed more than a dozen songs acoustically at Nashville’s The Stage. It was sheer pandemonium he walked down Broadway before heading in and playing for the packed house.

The Oak Ridge Boys also helped Shelton open his new Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. The exhibition examines the star’s road to success, from his childhood to his move to Nashville as a teen, and from his multi-platinum recording breakthrough to becoming a national celebrity.
