Top 10 Single “I’ll Name The Dogs” Leads Six Simultaneously Charted Tracks at Country Radio

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (November 7, 2017) – Following a blockbuster week of television performances and special events, Blake Shelton continues to celebrate the release of his latest album, Texoma Shore, and its current chart-topping position on the iTunes Country Albums and Singles Charts. The Platinum-selling artist also sees an unparalleled six of the album’s 11 tracks climbing the Mediabase chart simultaneously, making Shelton the only artist to achieve this feat in Country Aircheck’s history.

Texoma Shore’s flagship single, “I’ll Name The Dogs,” stands steady in the Top 10 during its eighth week and tallies more than 17 million streams. The remaining five (“At The House,” “I Lived It,” Turnin’ Me On,” “Money” and “Why Me”) each made world premieres at iHeartRadio and other country stations last week, with accompanying television performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, TODAY, Late Night With Seth Meyers and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan. Standout track “The Wave,” written by Josh Osborne and Ross Copperman, fuels Shelton’s momentum.

“I love ‘The Wave’ and it really fits with the idea of Texoma Shore,” shared Shelton. “It’s about a summer that happened and you know this relationship that developed out on the water somewhere and, you know, this guy really thought that he had life figured out until he met this girl. He didn’t realize he was unhappy until he met [her], and I just love that message.”

Shelton performed “The Wave” during Texoma Shore’s official launch in Nashville last Friday (11/3), sharing stories behind the album with a capacity crowd during his Pandora “Sounds Like Country” show. Always putting the fans first, he also hand-delievered a copy of the album to an unsuspecting Amazon Prime customer who has pre-ordered the album via Amazon Prime Now.
