Superstar Blake Shelton returns to #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart with his latest album, If I’m Honest. It’s the fourth week at #1 for the record which was released May 20.  Fueled by his current Top 10 single “She’s Got A Way With Words,” and appearances on Late Night With Seth Meyers and the Today Show Summer Concert Series, If I’m Honest has been in the Top 5 since its release and has already yielded the #1 single, “Came here To Forget.”
 
“I'm so proud of this album,” says Shelton. “I loved recording it, and writing for it and to see this kind of reaction is truly humbling for me. Being a country singer is all I ever wanted to be!”
 
The Voice coach is also returning for his eleventh season of The Voice with very special mentor, Bette Midler. “Bette is such an icon and she's done everything in the entertainment business there is to do and done it at a top level. We were all in awe being around her for the taping and it's such a great experience for my team to have had her as a mentor.” Midler joins Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar, and Charlie Puth as mentors this season which will kick off with a special preview episode on Sunday, August 21 after the 2016 Olympics closing ceremony – and will officially return on Sept. 19 at 8p.m. ET on NBC.
 
Shelton’s exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story is now open. The exhibition examines the star’s road to success, from his childhood to his move to Nashville as a teen, and from his multi-platinum recording breakthrough to becoming a national celebrity. A range of artifacts, including stage wear, instruments, song manuscripts, photos and personal items help tell the story of Shelton’s struggles and triumphs.
 
He is also gearing up for the 2016 Blake Shelton Tour Presented by Gildan. The tour kicks off in Oklahoma City, OK on Sept 9 and features singer-songwriter RaeLynn as opener.
