Hit Texoma Shore Single “I’ll Name The Dogs” Takes On Top 5

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (November 27, 2017) – With five winning seasons under his belt, Blake Shelton will take the stage tomorrow night (11/28) on NBC’s The Voice for a performance of his Top 5 single “I’ll Name The Dogs.” He will also perform the lead track from his brand new album Texoma Shore, which became his sixth consecutive debut atop the Billboard Country Albums Chart and landed in the Top 10 of the all-genre Top 200, on Ellen December 4. No stranger to television, the Platinum-selling superstar appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, TODAY, Late Night With Seth Meyers and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan leading up to album release.

Texoma Shore follows 2016’s No. 1 project, If I’m Honest, and continues Shelton’s streak which includes one entry on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for eight consecutive years. Tallying two dozen No. 1 singles over the course of his career, the Oklahoma native – who recorded much of his latest album in his home state – has seen his single “I’ll Name The Dogs” ascend the charts with lightning speed, reaching the Top 5 in just 11 weeks. The reigning Billboard Music Awards Top Country Artist has earned a slew of accolades including six Platinum and four Gold-certified albums as well as the first country artist to win the all-genre Favorite Album at the People’s Choice Awards for If I’m Honest and Favorite Male Country Artist.

Shelton will hit the road in 2018 for his headline “Country Music Freaks” tour, bringing Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and special guest Trace Adkins along for the ride.
