With each candle flickering in the legendary Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA., country music superstar Blake Shelton is bringing the heat in the live acoustic video of his latest single “Turnin’ Me On.” Henson Recording Studios, originally founded by Charlie Chaplin, was purchased by Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets) in 2000. Many artists have recorded there including Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass, John Lennon, Carole King, Bruce Springsteen, Janet Jackson, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and many more. Shelton gives the “sultry” (Entertainment Tonight) track even more smolder with his live vocals alongside co-writer Jessi Alexander. The performance will premiere on CMT and everywhere today.

The new single follows smash hits “I Lived It” and “I’ll Name The Dogs,” the latter of which notched him the 25th No. 1 single of his career and recently earned its RIAA Gold certification. “Turnin’ Me On,” from the chart-topping album Texoma Shore, has been declared a “smoldering, mid-tempo number about a seductive flame” by Rolling Stone. Shelton’s Texoma Shore has marked a number of milestones for the Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville icon. In the week following album launch, he became the first artist in Country Aircheck / Mediabase history to have six songs chart simultaneously. It became his sixth record to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and marked his 11th all-genre Top 10. The record also spurred this year’s massive “Country Music Freaks” Tour.

Shelton has taken “Turnin’ Me On” to the small screen with performances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, TODAY, the 2018 CMT Awards and more. In addition, he is also back as a coach for his 15th season on NBC’s The Voice joined by Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and new “Comeback Stage” coach Kelsea Ballerini. Currently in the blind auditions, the live show will kick off in November.
