Award-winning entertainer Blake Shelton is most certainly “Happy Anywhere” – but this week, “Anywhere” is the top of the country radio charts. The “joyous duet” (People) with his real-life love Gwen Stefani marks their second chart-topper together and his 28th overall. The single has earned 70 million on-demand streams as well as upwards of 600,000 U.S. track equivalents.

“I don’t know how the hell this keeps happening, but I couldn’t be more grateful that it does,” Shelton said. “Thank you to the songwriters, the music makers, the fans… thank you to my team and to country radio… and, of course, thank you to the incredible Gwen Stefani. Wishing everyone health and safety. We hope that y’all can be ‘Happy Anywhere’ this holiday season.”

Shelton and Stefani debuted “Happy Anywhere” on the TODAY Summer Concert Series (WATCH HERE), and they also performed together on the ACM Awards (WATCH HERE). MusicRow described the single, written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins, as “bopping, sunny and bright, plus loaded with romantic optimism,” stating: “If I’ve ever heard a quarantine/pandemic love song, this is it.” Meanwhile, The Oklahoman proclaimed that Shelton and Stefani “have another sweet, surefire hit duet on their hands.”

The feel-good duet is the follow-up single to Shelton and Stefani’s Platinum-certified No. 1 smash “Nobody But You” from Fully Loaded: God’s Country. The album, a collection of new music and previous hits, recently won Favorite Album – Country at the American Music Awards. The title track earned him the 2019 CMA Award and 2020 ACM Award for Single of the Year. Shelton also took home Country Artist of 2020 at the People’s Choice Awards.

In addition to notching hits, Shelton is currently coaching his 19th season of The Voice. He will step out of the red chair for a virtual visit to NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers this Thursday, December 10 at 12:35/11:35c.
