My prayers are with you in the loss of your father. I lost mine several years ago and my mom 3 years ago. I know the pain you are feeling. God will bring you thru this.

I wasn't there that morning when my Father passed away. How blessed you are that he got to see your success & marriage to Miranda. I love alcohol just as much as you but I turned to it over pain. My heart is broken that my Dad, also named Dick aka Richard didn't get to see me as a grown woman. In the Living Years, please re-do the song country and check out my site www.awholelottabud.com. What a blessing you were there and there was nothing left unsaid. No one is immune to pain for sure so stay close to those who you love, always. As someone who just lost my husband, I know sometimes even words cannot comfort you in times like this. My husband battled cancer for almost 10 years. In that time we spent a lot of time doing whatever we could to have fun, which usually meant going to events, such as concerts. Music really does heal anything... my husband Mike passed away this past September. Although he never got to meet you, he loved your music, your humor, and everything in-between. I'll continue to carry on in his spirit, though music, and hope to see you soon. I still think of him often, and it helps me to remember all the food memories... something I will forever cherish. Here's a bible verse which I loved when Mike was dying, and when he eventually passed. It gave me a sense of comfort: 2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith"

Just want to say I am sorry for your loss, I do know what you are going through, as I lost my daddy when I was 12 in a accident. And hard to believe now, things do get better. You never completely get over it,always a void there. but it gets better. Just know you have alot of fans out there praying for you and your family. We all love you!!!!
