6. I got engaged at Trace's concert in 2003 in Atlanta, he's a wonderful man and proud to be a fan after all he's gone through in life and became the kind of man/father/husband he is.

2. It's a happy country song. Not one of those "oh I lost my dog, waaaaa, my wallet, waaaa, and my wife left me (waaaa) and now the washer doesn't work" kind of song.

3. They sound really really freakin good together.

4. Someone else thats actually genuinely country needs to win a country category, instead of someone like Taylor Swift or Rascal Flatts, who break into pop music as well. (not dissin them either, its just the truth.) Everyone appreciates true country music like this.

5. They deserve it. Blake Shelton lives in Oklahoma for cryin out loud. He's REAL. Down to earth.

Why do I think Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins should win Collaborative Video of the Year at the 2010 CMT Awards?

1. Both men have great talent I mean I do not know if anyone remembers one of my favorite songs he sung called the baby at the time I heard this my mom was having heart trouble and I was worried and it just spoke volumes and then look at trace his deep voice has such tenderness when he sings all I ask anymore or your gonna miss this which honestly made me wanna slow down and enjoy life I was in such a hurry to grow up and move out before but hearing those songs honestly changed my mind I can grow up and have a life anytime but I don’t know when I am gonna lose someone I care about so I slowed down and I am glad

Honestly they both can make people crack a smile even on the worse day your having in ages i mean come on were talking about traces honky tonk badonka and I don't think a lot of people will remember that Blake really wrote the hit for TK called “I wanna talk about me” I mean they can be deep then crack you up I love it

Why do I think Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins should win Collaborative Video of the Year at the 2010 CMT Awards?

1. 1.My 3 year old daughter loves this song....She can't help but holler and NEE HAW she says!LOL

I have one major reason first and foremost on these two men...
INTEGRITY, INTEGRITY, INTEGRITY!

2. Being the proud wife of a US Marine, I think Trace and Blake are two of the few artists who not only "say" they support our military, but "SHOW" it too!

3. Admit it, you have to sing along, bob your head, and at the very least tap your foot to the song!

3. While there are some other songs by duets out there now that are decent, I really don't see the "good 'ole boy" feeling you get with this pair.

4. It's about time BOTH of them were recognized for what they have done for, and brought to country music.

5. Both these gentlemen come across as being approachable, honest, and truely thankful to their fans for allowing them to make a living doing what they love to do the most!

5. I have seen them both in concert in the last 2 months and they were fantastic when they sing their "Songs About Me" like Hillbilly Bone.
