I was happy to be at the Shawnee concert, I loved the venue, and the small crowd. But the line up all those stairs for the meet and greet was horrible. I'm handicapped. It was a good thing I was 3rd in line because I never would have been able to stand on those stairs for so long. Did everyone in that line make it thru to see Blake? I missed the road manager guy (he was cute) who used to take our pictures.

I also miss being on the Street Team.

As I become more handicapped as my disease progresses, I would hope someone would consider those of us who are handicapped. I stood for ever at the front of the line and did not have a walker with a seat to sit on. I've just hated taking one anywhere I go. I'm not asking for cuts in line, I'm not asking for special seats, I'm just asking that I never have to go up those stairs again. And coming back down them, when they were full of people, I wonder if those stairs can hold all those people safely.

But when it comes to Blake, "He had me at Austin". I think as he becomes more mature as a man and no longer a little boy, he is very attractive. Not that he wasn't before, but I'm really likeing the man Blake better than the boy Blake.

Not at all! I totally agree, nothing about this is the way it used to be. My boyfriends account somehow got all messed up when all this took place and he hadn't put in for a meet and greet yet so we had no idea. Luckily we caught it in time and tried to put it in but guess what, no one wanted to help us get it strightened out. Thanks to Carol she managed to get his account right but the only meet and greet left for this year that was possible for him to make was the Fort Madison Rodeo in Iowa. Well needless to say he didn't get that either. I bet if Blake only had the time to keep up with everything it wouldn't take him long to fix the problem! Maybe if we made up a petition and send it to Blake he will get Carol back to get this all strightened out again,and we could once more have the club we need.

I have to agree. I almost missed the Meet & Greet I went to because the instructions were wrong. The site is hard to navigate. The links aren't there like they were before. AND where is the video for "I'll Just Hold On" How do they think songs get to number one. Fans watch CMT and GAC. I don't remember Blake releasing a single without a video. Sometimes the videos are number one even if the song doesn't go all the way.

It's finally nice to hear something good about this change. It's awesome that Willow was able to do that for you and the kids. It really surprised me when I saw you there because I thought weren't gonna be there...so it's really nice that Team BS did that for you and the kids on such short notice...LOL..I didn't notice if anyone "passed out"...LOL...awesome show with Blake as headliner, as it should be!!!

Willow from Team BS hooked my whole family up with meet & greets last night. I think my tide might be turning on this whole WB thing. The kids were out of their minds and I am pretty sure one of them was going to pass out even though he played Mr. Cool. HA!

I think when WB changes the type of board we have it will be better and workable as long as it isn't BLACK!.

I am not on here much anymore because for one my mom is in an out of the hospital with cancer and not doing good at all. lung cancer and also found a spot on her brian an they said they can prob get the spot on the brain gone with more radiation. she is in Chemo so yah. an ya i do miss the old bored i wish that WB would just put Carol and Patti back in charge let them open the old bored back and leave it at that. because this bored just is not working right.. seems like this bored has gone down hill and i agree with everything connie said. We all was happy felt like we had our own special spot.. we kept in contact with eachother and now on here it is like what the heck happened. we are not able to keep contact with the others, on the "privite only section" where we could talk about anything seems like you cant talk about anything cuz it feels like there are a bunch of "stangers" and not as privite as it was. Like Connie said where is the video.. an it seems like we are not stayin informed as much as we used to...
if i had one wish regrading this bored it would be to open up the other one back up. I'm sorry WB but Carol & Patti was VERY GOOD and kept the board up. I don't really like this bored that much. i miss the other one. Sorry WB

I miss the old board too........I think what is missing is the hierarchy of both old and new members. The older (length of time not age) would welcome the new members and help them with their problems posting.........as the new members learned the ropes they would in turn help other new members. This brought a closeness to our group and I really miss that. We don't have that here yet, but that is not WB's fault.
However, I do know that as a full time career woman I do not have time to come on here and search though all these threads for any new posts. At the old board some posts especially now when everyone should be talking about the FCP would be 40 to 60 pages in length. That was not a problem because each reply was chronologically in order according to day and time it was posted. That made it easier to simply go to the page where you left off and then continue reading the posts that were new in order. I can't get on this web site at work. That leaves just a small margine of time in the evening to get on and check what is happening. I can't go through every thread searching for new posts.....that would take hours that I don't have, so I have to sacrifice reading and posting as much as I use to and I really miss it.

Betty- I miss the ones we lost, too. Can't wait to see you in Nash!!! I just flew out of bed, much too early for a Sunday- with freak out knots in my tummy. I think I need to take a trial run to the airport just to see where I am going to park my car, etc... LOL! We will be out of here by 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, but I figure I won't have slept Tuesday night, anyway!

I don't have any problems with us talking about our frustrations. I think it's good!! And it should help WB in the long run, seeing what we like and dislike.

Any "ridicule" and bickering would've been the effect of the very last line in Connie's first post. There wasn't any need for that comment as it has nothing to do with our feelings about this site/board. That's it. :)

Hey Guys-I can't remember the last time I posted. I really do have a hard time with this forum and navigating it. I know I have kept in touch with a few of you through email but I do REALLY miss the old BS Forum and some of the BSers I have lost contact with. I hope that team BS and WB will be able to change the forum back to the old format.

I am so excited about the Fan Club Party and Blake's Charity. I can't wait to see my BSer friends at the Party. I hope the donations really roll in in the last week for Blake and LLS.

I've been monitoring boards long enough that I can sense when they are getting
ready to "turn." And, I see this one heading toward bickering...if we don't really
watch ourselves. That's all I'm saying; I know you have been voicing frustrations
and don't see a problem with that. Still, I thought everyone had vented in the week
and half that this thread has been here, so maybe it was time to just move on....

Yea, a forum is meant for people to have a discussion. I agree. I don't see bickering -- although the night is young, lol.

This thread, by and large, has been fans discussing their frustrations about the forum not being "easy" or "quick" enough to visit/post often. I see nothing wrong with that. No one, that I can see, is mad at or are directing their anger at any particular person(s) -- just upset as a whole over a few of the changes. I understand.

I am not sure what to say either, granted there are a few things that have been discussed that need changing...IE: "an all items read" option, some still have
issues with speed some don't...etc etc etc. BUT honestly are the issues so overwhelming that participation on the board should be that limited, especially for
the die hard Blake fans, who usually rise to every occasion on Blake's behalf????? This was something Blake wanted, why not be more supportive?

Like Jess said, WB is a huge company with other artists and many other endeavors to
address and I too am certain they are doing everything they can to accomodate and correct.
Team BS has always been very respectful and prompt in any communication I have had with them.
Not everything is black and white, I think we all need to have a little more faith in them, like Blake apparently does.

One fact that many here over look is the fact that a majority of fans don't even participate in online forums, however that does not translate into decreased activity among BS fans based on "lack of posts", what appears to be a site "losing it's umphhhhh" can very well be actively sought by people wanting to know more about Blake, yet they chose
not to post. To deny them that opportunity to read about our HOT MESS, or participate in constests would be Blake's loss. I believe WB has come up with something that is very versatile for ALL BLAKE FANS. (all be it "some" changes are in order)

Whether one chooses to agree or disagree I don't see what being a Miranda Lambert fan has to do with ANY of this, as we are all here to support BLAKE!

I am sure Dorothy's absence from the current forum has NOTHING to do with it's format, I am sure she's quite busy these days with things in her life as well as Blake's/Indy's!

I totally agree with you guys! I have never gotten used to this site! I miss the ease of breezing around from one forum to another. And as for the store, I still don't understand that but hope that it WILL open after the party. I hope that all of you that are going to the party have a great time (I know you will, look who will be there!!) Think of us that won't be (I'm jealous!!!) I will stay with the club as the reason for it is to support our favorite BSer and I can only hope that things will get better with WB.

I honestly think they need do away with this board and go back to a phpBB that is more user friendly.
Start setting up another one that can go to from a link on the main page just like before the change.
The old Fan Club & BSers Board was accessed from there.
There are hardly any posters on here, I do see some fans logged in but they never post.
I miss so many of our Bsers that just can't handle this board.
My eyes kill me on this black background so I don't care to read on here.

Dorothy used to pop on the old board but never has on here.

you know I don't get on here much anymore cause it just isn't the same! I agree with you Connie! I use to get on and check everyday and read what was going on with everybody but not anymore I good to get on here every few days!!!

I'm not sure what to say... I don't want to complain too much because I think that people are actually doing WHAT THEY CAN. WB is a HUGE company with lots of other artists and things to do besides work on just Blake. There are things that need improvement, yes, but this isn't an "established" board yet really. They know what they need to work on and I'm sure they're trying to get it done.

Like someone said, none of us really know what goes on behind the scenes so we really shouldn't be so quick to judge.

TeamBS has always been extremely polite and responsive to me when I've had questions or issues. So, I think they're trying to the best of their abilities. :)

I do know that they just can't make changes on a whim, when someone asks. Their tech dept/peeps/whatever have "phased rollouts". They have a schedule for when they rollout any changes that need to be made. Like, instead of one-at-a-time, whenever a change needs to be done... they make a bunch of changes, test it behind the scenes, then the actual site is updated and actually goes live to the public at a specific, set time later on.

I'm not disagreeing just because I'm a Miranda Lambert fan. I guess I just have a more hopeful and trusting outlook on this whole thing. Plus, I'm not technically disagreeing. lol The board does need work, yes. I totally agree. I don't think anyone WON'T agree with that (including WB, TeamBS, and Blake).

I think it just takes time to figure out what everybody wants and needs. Remember, this is new for them, too!

Patty, I agree. Thanks for letting us know that Blake knows about the problems. I think we should have been answered by WB. I know they are aware of all the problems and it wouldn't hurt if they let us know is anything is being addressed at this time.
As for waiting list for M&G, I am not holding my breath for Monique & I. Has anyone ever been contacted about being on the waiting list and actually got a M&G.

I did not see the Choir and unfortunately I do not get that channel Sniff! As for LLS, you go girl. Hopefully we will have a good final push and plus we will do a full other year.

I can donate to LLS instead and do some good with that money.
At all of the casinos it said no one under 18 but I saw many young people there and most don't sell booze.
And for this board I am backing off posting some things now, I can share by email with my friends.
I only posted COTC news because some new fans never saw it the first time.

Ah, I see. However, if you don't renew you def won't get one. I think it depends on the venue. I think Jana got denied re. her kids at Fire but there are piccies of kids so some obviously have allowed it.

Connie, I don't think it is a lottery per se. I think it depends on how many requests. I got a m and g for April and got one for June. Claire did not get one for Sams but she is on the wait list. Also the other people in that thread had not had an m and g in a while. It would not have been fair to deny them. Other people have gotten two m and gs close together too, like Donna and also Wadenut ( I think her name is Sue).
