Blake Shelton

Hey everyone -

This post was brought to our attention, and I just wanted to pop in and say a few words before I close it.
First off - please understand that every piece of content on the forum is for the BSers by the BSers. Team BS members will come in and close a post, or do "damage control" as needed, but realy these are here for Blake fans to get together and talk. It can be about Blake, it can be about Miranda, it can be about your family, or a book you just read...anything. There are all different forums to have all different discussions in. Yes - its a Blake website, but the community is for Blake fans to come together and agree (or respectfully disagree) about all different topics.

Secondly - I want to make sure you guys know that the ball really is rolling on getting a new, easier to use forum (HOORAY!). I really think you guys will like this board a lot more - it's got easier emoticons, and is a lot like the old board you guys were on before we took control. I hope to have it ready as a gift to you guys before Christmas, but if it gets out of my hands (as things often do), it will certainly be here in the beginning of the new year. You'll be seeing more about this in the news part of the site...so get ready!

Aaaaand I'm going to go ahead and close this now to prevent further unhealthy arguments :(

I don't come on here very often anymore but when I do it's just for updates on Blake. I'm a fan of many but think Blake Shelton is #1! We all have the right to speak our minds, but lets remember it's all in fun

I would really like to see WB pick up the slack and start broadcasting our guy. That's what this forum is about. HE is the artist we are all here to talk about and HE deserves to be seen, promoted and supported. WB has dropped the ball since the beginning and I am sorry if I am not all for being patient and waiting it out. We've waited long enough and so has Blake. If you can't do the job, give it back to those who did it so well.

As for Blake fans and Ran fans, it is what it is. We can easily co-exist (I believe) if everyone remembers that THIS board is about BLAKE.

Just my opinion, I just wish this site was up to date. It has none of the Jan. dates. How do people buy tix if they check here and see no dates? Not to mention, people want to sign up for m and g and cannot if there is not a date. That would be a start, not just a "friendly' forum.

What is the point of this "posse" posting [b]anything[/b] when [b]everything[/b] we say is "wrong" or we're met with hatred and bitter comments, more often than not for no reason, no matter WHAT we post or WHO we post about?

I can't stand all the negativity. That's why I'm not here much anymore. That doesn't mean I don't LOOK and READ about what Blake's up to. I just don't post because all the arguing is completely ridiculous and immature. I hate for new fans to come and see all that crap and shy away. Allyson - I'm not fighting Connie. I've ignored her for the last year. I believe that I am also entitled to my opinion but that apparently is STILL not the case here. As you can see I did not start this thread so I'm at a loss as to why you say i am trying to start trouble. I did not say the board was good, only that I am trying to give it a chance.

Alas, I will quit posting because I tend to get blasted by Connie everytime I do. So next time someone asked "why does nobody post anymore" maybe you could direct them to this thread.

Sandi, come on...it's been almost a YEAR since WB took over the Fan Club...stop fighting Connie just for the sake of fighting Connie and call it like it is!! Stop saying 'Black' every time Connie says 'White'...she's entitled to her opinion and if you don't like it, then don't read it. But you don't need to try and start trouble.

The fact is, this board is no good and we've all said so for a long time..yes there have been some improvements made, but it's still not user friendly. I rarely come here too because it's so hard to navigate.

Okay get it out of our systems. Well Carol, you asked for it. This board bites the big one and it bites it hard. The board itself sucks and then we had to deal with the non Blake is #1 fans. They brought their stupid signatures that promoted another artist. They pissed and moaned at every complaint we had. They sucked up to WB and looked for an argument everywhere they could. Now, just about everyone is gone. Why is that? I for one don't think it's Connie. I think the non Blake is #1 fans left because there was nobody to argue with. They may as well.....I don't enjoy reading about another artist anyway.

Well what do you know? Apparently, not a lot. Because Ran Fans began leaving this board long before WB took over. Sure, WB had problems at first, but those are being worked out. Some of us have patiently waited for that rather than blast WB at every turn. Ran Fans are still watching this board they just don't care to respond to your ranting and raving on your once a month trip here. Fans of other artists were blasted by you at every chance. Why you choose to blast Miranda more than others, I don't know. It appears you are just plain JEALOUS of what you can't have!

I have to say here that Blake is a damn good singer/songwriter and I will remain a fan of his. But I am not so narrow minded to think that there are no other singer/songwriters out there. There is a plethora (if you don't know what that means, it's in the dictionary) of good ones out there. Therefore, I will support the ones I believe in and enjoy hearing.

Is EVERY song Miranda sings indicative of her current life? Who knows? I would bet you don't have any insight into that so why start ugly rumors?

Will your loud, rude mouth bring more fans to this board? I rather doubt it. But you just keep on living in your dream world and think that.

Well, I'll tell you what.....I try to post here. At least where Blake is on the voting opportunities we have. Today, I went to post the results of the CMT Top 20 and I got a message that what I was posting might be spam and I had to enter a captcha. That really pissed me off.

As for giving Miranda a chance? nahhhh! it's not my fault who the flavor of the day is, so long as Blake is happy! I don't have to vote for her, I was here for him while he was still engaged, then married to Kaynette. Even through the divorce, I was still here.

As for checking in? The true BSers got tired of fighting with you and your daughter and the "posse" while we were on a board that was supposed to be supporting Blake Shelton. That's all. As for a loud mouth... Ask Blake about how I react with just 2 chords of Playboys, then you will know what a loud mouth is. Well, here we go again! She's back and trying to cause trouble again. Miranda's fans didn't leave because of the board. All of them I have talked with left because of YOU and your loud mouth and always hogging the board about mindless trivial things most of us didn't care to hear about 24/7.

That being said, I check this board EVERY day which appears to be more than some do.

Oh, BTW, I don't really think "White Liar" is about Blake. But how would you know - you don't give her a chance!
