Well im not on here much because my Mom is very sick with terminal cancer.. She is not doing too good at all right now. I just got sick with something i have a sore throat stuffy nose and headach.. I have school now.. but i try everytime i get free time to come on here and check things out.. Things are really ruff right now.

Well Carol, I can't say I blame her. You KNOW how much information she has, and gets from all over the place. If it takes ME over a minute to get from page to page, she could be voting like crazy in the time it takes her to get one post up on this freakin board. (sorry for the freakin) but really? this is as good as it gets for a man at the peak, huh? Maybe someone that did Michael Buble's board (it's still Warner!) could give some pointers to whomever set up this board? At least one that knows how to run a friendly board... I'm just sayin'...

Awww....Bigkhan would be a HUGE loss as she always knows all the places to go to vote for Blake.

I think we lost a Big Connie, she hasn't posted here since August 8th, and that is one tough broad to run off. She's brought us all the Blake stuff for over 8 years!

It isn't unusual for fan clubs to post personal things on the boards...you get to be a kind of special community. Of course, the
main thing is always to promote Blake......look for some good things the coming year. :) Meanwhile, Bigkhan always knows all
the places you can vote for Blake so vote away!!!

I have quite a few friends from fanclubs and it's what I really enjoy about the fanclubs. You feel like you have aren't the only crazy person who obsesses over Blake (hahaha) or in my case Josh Turner as well. It's nice to be able to meet up with them at concerts, and they aren't a total stranger.

I dont have anything to compare to, as I am a new member (well, June) But, I kinda like the site. I get information from here that I would never get anywhere else. I honestly, too, would rather stick to the mostly Blake stuff and/or concert stories, etc.. Although, I am getting to know a few people via here and/or following them on twitter and I am loving it. I wish I could find some fellow Washingtonian Blake fans / Forum post'ers to chat with so I could meet up at shows like you all talk about. Unfortunately, not sure I will ever be able to afford and/or take time off to travel places like it seems you all do... Up here in the Northwestern corner of the states doesn't get much country action.....

I liked the board clutterred with personal crap I suppose- at least people were posting and I wasn't talking to myself. I don't find the board that complicated i guess- maybe i'm getting used to it. My computer is pretty slow normally, but I don't find it any slower on Blake's site here. I actually think it's neat how they have a section for you to post review's of the concerts on the tour page. maybe alot of people are missing Carol and Patti? :)

EXCITED IS NOT THE WORD :) We have been to 2 shows in one day 2 nights in a row 7 shows in one year....But this is the first time 3 shows Friday Sat and Sunday .... Our knees just shake when we think of our trip.....We are counting the days...

I read it - so that's at least 1 - but I have nothing to say.

Personally I'm not sure a board cluttered with chit chat about people's personal crap that doesn't involve anything even remotely close to Blake is a better solution than an less busy but more topic centered board.

We all agree that it takes people to post. The question being ask
is WHY are people not posting and the posts have suggested why people
are not using the board. If anyone has a good idea about how to get people
back on the board I hope someone is here to read it.

If people are not on the board then they miss voting for various things

Lisa I totally agree with you. Having been a member of both forums, I can attest to the sentiment of this forum being doomed before it ever got off the ground, It should be about Blake, and what Blake wants, after all that's what we're here for!!!

It just took 23 seconds for that last post to go through. This board can't be rocked at a snail's pace.

It just took me 12 seconds from the main page to get to the second page, then 15 seconds to get from the second page to here. This is only to see one topic.

Lisa- I don't look around here much. And new posters don't know that we were given SPAM in a can, in March, when we were used to dining on Prime Rib. So yeah, I miss most of what happens here, unless someone emails me a link.

I haven't bothered emailing 'Team BS' about my displeasure, because if the emails worked, things would have been changed by now. This IS as good as it gets. Well, for WB anyway. Hey, at least Blake has a Fan Club. How are they doing with the whole James Otto Fan Club?

WB/Team BS cannot create a busy board. It is a two way street. People have to be willing to post. Just an observation, a new poster was excited enough to create a topic and post about Kinder yesterday and I am the only one who answered.

I agree that something needs to be done. I'm not sure what.
I think a lot of BSers like the personal feel of contact with Blake
on twitter but it doesn't get voting messages and updates to everyone.

I think the problem started with a very poor board and a lot of fans
got tired of the problems and didn't/don't put up with the problems
and then twitter came along---

I also think the personal contact with Carol, etc., was so good that
we lost a lot of "feelings" when they changed.

I'll send a message and hope a lot of others will too.

Blake's fan club parties are always fun! No doubt about that! The whole idea of the conert allows for a lot more music!!!! Which I think is AWESOME!!!!!!!! The more the merrier IMO!!! I am glad Blake went with the concert idea this year! I hope he continues to do so!

My 1st and thought it was awesome. Looking forward to next year. Next year I hope to meet more of y'all!! Cindy

I didn't feel like I was packed in like a sardine, and I liked that it was an actual concert. I'd be disappointed if it weren't in a concert. I was actually kinda expecting more music to be played at my first party I went to in 2008 which was a breakfast one. Every party i've been to, has had a concert. I didn't have anything spilled on me, as I didn't drink anything while at the Wildhorse, but I didn't really feel like I was packed in like a sardine either- I've seen that at a local bar hear in Louisiana that was definitely violating firecode. Everyone in the fanclub just kinda feels like they deserve to be up front and close- and that's kinda impossible with so many of us, and I don't think there is anything wrong with each of us bringing a guest- I know I don't want to go alone with strangers, and I don't want to rely on another fanclub member for a ride, etc, and therefore I travel with a family member. Maybe they should just do away with the whole take your picture at the fanclub party VIP tickets, because it seems to just add alot of drama. I wasn't after one of those tickets- being I was trying to save money, and have met Blake a few times. (I donated to Blake's charity instead of going the VIP route). I think most everyone has met him in here. I haven't tried twittering yet, but I suppose that's what I need to learn, since that is what Blake knows how to do.

Patty/pg0831- the party was awesome, but I didn't have anything spilled on me, and was right at the stage & never got crammed into it- that was awesome.

I had a ball, and I loved being there with all my buddies, hanging out at the hotel- just all of it was magical. I'd never been to a breakfast one, so I have nothing to compare it to. Plus I can't have any complaints- Blake held my hand & sang Tight Fittin Jeans to me & wiggled his eyebrows. Nope, no complaints! :)

And I haven't been on here in over 4 weeks, apparently. that's what it said when I logged on. It's just not worth the battle to flip through pages. I still got my buds, so it's all good.

Ummmm..Don't know...maybe everyone wasn't all that thrilled with the "party" since it was basically a concert instead...just my thoughts....Not much you can say about it...people spilling drinks all over you, packed in like sardines, not able to see over everyone's heads, etc...This board isn't nearly as user friendly as the old one either, which will definitely discourage some from posting. Guess I'll go to twitter.com now and see if Blake has tweeted today. ;-)

I'm sorry I missed the old board. It sounded like a lot of fun. I enjoy this one, though. I have joined A LOT of fan clubs just to take advantage of pre-sales, but have never taken advantage of using any message boards or anything. For the record, I joined this fan club just for Blake. I couldn't even take advantage of a pre-sale for my show. It's at a fair, and I dont think there was one. Cant wait to hopefully take advantage of meeting him, though since I choked on the first one.....

OK...I'm hopping with excitement but have just been busy. I'll try to hop in more often
with some positive comments. GAC is doing an hour show on Blake called Back Story.
I've been going through lots of old pictures and videos....nothing like visiting memory lane.
The biggest surprise was a video of Blake at 13 singing "Old Time Rock & Roll" before his
voice changed and he lost his baby fat. Very cute!!!
