I'll be at the 9/5 show as well-and am waiting to hear about the M&G. I don't usually have any trouble out here in California, but I have 2 just before that so we'll see what happens. Wow-your first Blake show! That's awesome-you'll love it. Hope you get to meet him!

I loved seeing Blake at the scholarship show last year, And Darius at this year's. What a great little venue. Of course I always enjoy seeing Blake. I've seen him inYreka California with Josh Gracin, Orange Beach Alabama with Trace Adkins, Niceville Florida, Auburn Washington, and now in Monroe. When I heard he was coming here this year I got soooo excited. I just love the guy and can't wait for the show next week. Where are ou sitting? I'm going with two friends and one of them is about five foot nothing so I got our seats in the first set of risers. Hope to see you there!

Hey Monica,

We are sitting on the floor row 5. If you are looking at the stage, we will be to the left - the last seats in the row. I hope they aren't too bad. I cant recall how far over the seats go. I hope to walk up to the stage for a few shots. I've been in the bleachers for numerous shows (this is only the 2nd show I've actually had floor seats at the fair - been to MANY shows there) Oh, but are you in the risers that are still on the floor? Never sat there either.

I got the seats in the risers because the last show I went to at this venue (Josh Turner and Keith Anderson) the stage was level with the floor seating and we couldn't see hardly anything. Never mind taking pictures. So we got seats in the floor risers this time. They're good seats and if y'all on the floor stand up we'll still be able to see. And I think Monday is a very good day to hear about the meet & greet.

I emailed the fan club yesterday and they just got back to me. They said they will be sending out the meet & greet email by Thursday at the latest. I HATE WAITING!!!

This will be my fourth meet & greet with Blake. The first was in Yreka California at the Siskyou Golden Fair. I won a guitar signed by Blake and Josh Gracin right before. The second was in Orange Beach Alabama that same year. The third was last here in Auburn Washington and that was the first time I wasn't a babbling idiot with him. I've met Keith Anderson, Darryl Worley, and Trace Adkins and I was fine with all of them, able to string a full sentence and have a conversation. With Blake my knees shook and I just couldn't think past those pretty blue eyes. And I'm on those same pins and needles also. Matter of fact they're poking me in the butt and it's starting to get irritating.

I relate to your story. I've met a few different country boys, (Josh Gracin, Daryl Worley, Jason Michael Carroll, Jake Owen) oh, and a couple gals too - even Kellie Pickler and I've been fine talking to any of them. Even carried on a 5 minute conversation with Will recently from Caitlin and Will (Somehow, we even got on the subject of Blake) Anyway, I got so tongue tied meeting Blake, I SAID NOTHING, but to answer Hey How are ya? That is why I must meet him again. I will talk, I swear! I dont know why I ended up not saying a word.... You're right, I think it is the blue eyes!

It's going to be so much fun then my husband and I get to jam home to get our boys to school the next day, kindergarten and 1st grade! It's gonna be an awesome 24 hours!!!!

Hi...this is my first post...new to the club and board but not a new BS fan. I just received word today that I get to meet Blake at the LA Fair on 9/6. What should I expect (besides having shaky knees and being tongue tied). I know that cameras aren't allowed...can anything be brought to be autographed? And is the m&g rushed, or do you get a minute to talk?

Yes, you can bring something to autograph. Question is, girls, what? Mom had him sign my Startin' Fires cover, and I had him sign my Blake shirt. Hmmm...what else? Any idea's?

Not sure about the whole being rushed thing. I've only been to 1 M & G. Blake was late to our's by 15 minutes (joked about traffic sucking later from stage), but I didn't feel they were rushing anyone. Although, if you saw my story on the other meet and greet string going on, I didn't say more than "I'm Fine" So, I will not flub this time! Ugh - got butterflies already!!

You do have time to chat a minute, but then Kevin says move along. Last month I had him autogrph a laminated poster of him. Anything you bring he will autograph. Maybe a M&G photo. There are neat drum heads at merchandise table autographed by Blake and the band. Maybe you could get him to personalize it.

YAY my husband and I both got our m&g! I had a question about it. Do you think they will let me take a picture by myself with him then one with my husband? I want one of just me and blake without the hubby, lol.

peachy, when me and my best friend have meet and greets with blake i have been able to get a pic alone with him and have some with me and her together with blake........so i am thinking you should be able to get a pic with blake alone and with husband.......

I think it depends on how busy an m and g. If it is very busy they will only have time for one.

WOW! Blake ROCKED the fair tonight!! Loved the new stage set and the way he comes on stage. He had everybody in the venue cracking up.
Our meet & greet was wonderful. Pearl, I'M PROUD OF YOU!! Our girl had a conversation with Blake and I didn't have to poke her with my corndog stick or anything. She was first and she did great. Even asked for and got a hug. I was next. Blake has a new picture at the merch table so I bought one for him to sign. I stepped up and handed it to him and then told him I had something for him. I told him I was going to bring him a bottle of rum but didn't know what kind he drinks (anyone know??). I gave him three three packs of the gum he likes and then handed him a set of five scrimshawed pocket knives. I opened the box so he could see and Kevin stepped over to see what it was. I told Blake "You can't dress a deer with these but you can show the squirrel's a thing or two." He looked at Kevin and said "I'm gonna stab you tonight." Kevin said "I'm not going to be sleeping tonight." Then Blake asked my name and half way through writing it made sure he was spelling it right. He finished signing the picture, we had our picture made, and I proceeded to leave going the wrong way. I got called sweetie by Kevin twice when he was trying to turn me around. Best meet & greet I've ever had.
My country boy huntin' buddy's sister had her first meet & greet tonight. We were waiting for the VIP's and the radio meet & greets when Blake got off his bus. He stopped to have his picture made with someone and I looked at Essie and said "That's Blake". She drooled a little and said "Yes it is!" When we got to our seats she was talking to someone next to her and they said something about Blake and she looked at them and said "DUH!" I do believe she's been Shelton'd.
Talked to several other fan club members but for the life of me I can't remember their names. Very nice ladies. We all gave a little cheer when Pearl successfully chatted with Blake.
Anyway, it's almost 2am and I have a phone interview for a job tomorrow so I need to get to bed. Here's the link to my pictures. Over 500 of them. Enjoy.

Blake was lookin sexy in black!

Yeah, first up for the fan club line (Thanks to Monica) First thing, I walked up and asked him for a Twittergraph. He laughed and said the famous phrase. (I think) What are you talkin about. Then, he took the picture, that like Monica, I had also bought, and he asked (Kevin I think, but it was all a blur - and boy is Kevin a cutie!!) are these new? Blake hadn't seen them before - lookie there - pulling out new merchandise for little ole Monroe WA! He asked my name, wrote it out, and then asked there was another e in Pearl Then it was time for our pic, and it surprised me when he squeezed me in tight for a great pose! (I hope) Then, thanks to Lisa sending me this: http://yfrog.com/7g5b5dj I told him I brought him a gift. And, Lisa, I really did intend to say it was from both of us, but the moment passed too quickly, and it didn't happen. He laughed, and for the life of me, I cant remember exactly what he said, but he got a kick out of it. Then, thanks to Lisa prodding about asking for a hug, I DID, and boy was that nice! Darn if I cant remember looking into those eyes again, but I remember I was looking straight at him when I walked up and asked for my twittergraph!

So, before the show, I was talking to the DJ Tony Thomas from KMPS (his twitter is @tonythomas) I had to introduce myself as the person they had given the Dallas trip to to go meet Blake in June. And because I twittered him and texted him like mad after, he remembered me. I told him it was all his fault I am now Blake obsessed! We chatted for a minute, and I showed him the PETA hat in the pic above, and apparently, I told him I was going to ask for a twittergraph. I was talking to him again after the show, and apparently, he asked Blake how he liked the hat, and if I had asked for the twittergraph. How do you like that? Blake and Tony talking about me

SO, I'm torn...DO I post about the show here as well or go over to the 9-1 concert string? hmmm... Well, for sake of time, cause I really should start getting ready for work, I will post that here as well. ...

I had never noticed that the stage at this fair was recessed. It is even with the floor seats. Blake coulda walked ofstage directly in to my seat! So, my 5th row seats that were on the end of the stage sucked! SO, we noticed early on there were 2 seats in the front row unoccupied. Still on the far side of the stage. So, sat there for 2 songs. Then, I thought I would go to the middle of the stage to get a pic. There was Peachy12 with her hubby and an empty seat the 3rd seat in from the aisle, SO, lo and behold, here I was in the front row 3rd seat! Much better! And, boy was it awesome!! I'm sure Blake and I had moments looking into each others eyes! SOme of my pics definately show that

So, after the show, they had thrown about 5 ot 6 pics at us leftover from what wasn't used, but they landed on the other side of the fence. Peachy12's hubby was nice enough to reach over and get 3 of them. One for me. That was so nice of them. Thank You guys. Pretty blue.

This is my first post here and I'll be seeing Blake in three days in Sacramento. I'm not sure that I will last the three days, especially since I will be having my first m&g with Blake. I will be enjoying the show and my daughter will be responsible for all the photography. We have seats in the front row, which appear to be center. This is not my first Blake show, I saw him once in Turlock and another time when he opened for Rascal Flatts. I just hope I don't say the first thing that comes to mind when I see Blake or else I may be embarrassed.

Since I was peeking around the corner during your time with Blake (to make sure you were talking) I saw you give him the hat. He did get a big kick out of it, showed it to Kevin, and what he said was "Screw them". Then Kevin took the hat and set it aside.

I was actually in the risers about 25 or 30 rows away from the stage. Pearl was on the floor. Very good show no matter where you were sitting.

Darn Team BS - You're teasing me here! They posted Meet and Greet Pics all the way up to the 31st - the day BEFORE ours - Ugh.... Cant wait to see how the pic turned out cause I dont even remember looking at the camera! I was a little surprised when Blake squeezed me in tight while posing! I might have my eyes wide open with disbelief or I could have a school girl grin on my face - Probably both!!
