LOL @ mom. Yea, we answer every email -- upset, adoring, screaming or thanking. And, we get all of those and everything in between. We don't hold it against anyone. We understand frustrations. Especially this year. But it's all good.

I stand by my post that this party is going to be over-the-top amazing. There is going to be a lot going on for a long time that night! ;) Trust. Believe. Truth. As a matter of fact, we should rename the party "if you don't go, you are going to be kicking yourself until CMA Fest 2010!" lol

Someone told me that some of you are afraid to post anything
about me unless it is a compliment. I hope that isn't true. I
KNOW it isn't true on my emails. LOL I do try very hard to
keep Blake's fans happy....although that isn't always possible.
And truly, when you have a question about the party or tickets,
it is best to email...because I always answer those. Sometimes,
I miss a post and you might think I'm ignoring you.
Anyway, I just popped in to let you know that I don't have a problem
with you "venting."

I just want to explain something since people are mentioning how long it took to actually get their credit card charged. That does NOT mean they didn't get in there to get a ticket for 15 minutes. Here's what happened. Almost everyone added their tickets to their cart in that first minute. Of THOSE people...some went on to get checked out...even if it took awhile. But they were still one of the first 100 to actually add to cart and press "check out". Some of those that were in the first 100 tickets to add to cart and press check out -- never could get it to check out.

Just wanted to be a little clearer on that. I'll give you an example. Actually the 2nd person to make it through was Deedles....and she never got checked out. The 6th or 7th person to claim a ticket was allysonh......who ended up being the 2nd person to get their charge to go through (even though, she says it took her 15 minutes). I just caught those names because I know them pretty well from our old forum and their names POPPED out at me as we were watching the orders processing.

Hope that explains some of the situation that was occurring.

By the way, our personal server (who are angels) contacted us immediately to tell us where the problem lied (credit card processor). The cc processor customer service guy was a jerk with absolutely no help. Today, they claimed they couldn't really find an error other than a small redirect link after the checkout occured.........yet ever since they were contacted....no more problems. I think they just didn't want to own up to their problem and just quietly fixed it.

NOW -- on to more positive news!

I'm telling you guys, the party is going to be AMAZING! You know how it goes when nothing is in stone, but you know in all probability what it's going to be like? That's the dealio. So grab your CMA fest friends and tell them to get a floor ticket! It's not one to be missed. When it's over, the VIP's might have even forgotten they had a MG, LOL. Here's how I look at it at the simplest level -- it's 30 bucks for what might be one of the best concerts by Blake you will have seen PLUS the added fun of meeting everyone, getting some cool stuff and just having a late night PARTY with Blake! It's the best 30 bucks you'll spend this year.

It took me 20 minutes to check out after being thrown out maybe half a dozen times. I kept watching the bar with the green rectangles at the bottom of the page, hoping and praying it would finish. I was so relieved, and surprised, when it let me enter my info and gave me a confirmation.

I'm sorry many of you had even more trouble and very sad for those who didn't get VIPs that wanted them.

Carol and Patti, thank you for your endless efforts to communicate with everyone, then tediously sort through everything to be fair. There is no one else that takes care of the fans like you two do. You're the best!!!

I was on at 3:59 and at 4 the add to cart button went up! I believe Patti and Carol when they say we were all trying at the same time cause it took 15 agonizing minutes to check out!! LOL!!

Thanks Patti & Carol for your hard work and effort to straighten everything out. You really did a wonderful job handling a very stressful situation in a very short amount of time.
I bought our 2 floor tickets today and am really looking forward to this party and meeting some new people and seeing Blake.
This is my first fan club party. I know we will all have a great time!! :)

I just want to thank Carol and Patti for all the time they have spent to fix this. I wish other fan club's could be like this one. I am really glad that carol and patti are still in charge! :)

Carol it must be that being a teacher you have patience that I can't comprehend.
Patti must have inherited it from you.
I would be bald from pulling my hair by today if I would have been handling the BS Party ticket sale.

The VIP sold out because there were only 100.
There are plenty of floor tickets available so talk
up the party and get those sold too. Blake wants
the Wildhorse packed out!!!!

then again, I won't always be at the Fan Club party, so the tickets probably won't sell so fast next year. Bwuahahaha! I am sorry I made your life hectic the past couple of days. If I am coming again next year (doubtful) I will be sure to keep it under wraps so as to not crash anything.

The letters have been mailed. It broke our hearts
that everyone who tried couldn't get one. This was
an amazing thing. There were about 300 trying to
get one at the same time...they went in ONE MINUTE!
There were only 67 that actually went through before
the credit card server crashed. So, it was figuring
out fairly who got the remaining 33 that was tough
and time consuming...because some of you tried
15 times. LOL We stayed up most of the night
working on it.
Like I said, the good news is that there are still
plenty of floor tickets available and those will be great
too! We'll ALL have fun...see you at the party!!!!!!!!!!!
