Most reputable places do not allow for those under the influence to be tattooed, but then come on it's Blake Freakin' Shelton!!!

They actually ask you now (on some form you have to fill out) if you're under the influence of any medication or alcohol. At least they did when I got mine a few months ago. (I didn't necessarily think a couple beers really put me "under the influence". haha oops) Not sure if they used to do that back then?

That tattoo story is the reason I REFUSE to go back for another tattoo!!! LOL. Bruce keeps trying to talk me into getting a second one.

I have a small yellow rose and have always thought about going in and getting something that incorporates my kids' names, but I am chicken. I would hate to have something permanent on my body that I didn't absolutely love! I was 19 when I got my first one and that was just on a whim. I try to think a little more before I act these days ;)

Blake's story is that he was drunk when he went for the deer tracks tattoo. The artist didn't know what it looked like, so Blake drew it. I have to say, the deer tracks in NY don't look like his ladybugs! :)
