I am still recuperating myself!!!!!! Great memories for sure!!!!!! Sorry guys I didn't take all that many pics, for one thing, I didn't want to risk getting kicked out, AND I was so caught up in the moment and just having so much fun, posing for too many pics would have taken away from the fun. My feet are almost to the point they are talking to me again lol Fun times! Got in from Vegas that evening and went right back out to spend time with my boys in Reckless Kelly here in Phoenix. LOL But I haven't been to a gig since my return on Tuesday, that's pretty good for me haha.

Blake and Ran both did an awesome job, and they were soooooooooooooooooooo cute together!!!!! Very very attentive to each other, it's obvious they're in love! So adorable together! Just wait til you see em on the George Strait Tribute, you'll see what I mean!

We had so much fun we are still smiling even though our feet still hurt. We loved being there, Blake and Miranda did a great job. Love the orange dress looked so pretty. Blake looked great he was always smiling.....

Miranda did a great job at the awards she looked so pretty everyone enjoys her music and talent. The 3 ladies behind us love Keith Urban and Miranda so it was neat....

They did have some of the other animals in there... when she's walking around the farm. ;)

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED L-O-V-E-D the song. I can't stop playing it!! I'm ready for the album!!!!!!!!

I saw the cotton commercial again last night on TBS while I was watching Family Guy.

Alan and I are both such dorks. We were laying at opposite ends of the couch and we saw Ran come on the TV and we both bolted to an upright sitting position and hollered "It's Ran!" at the same time.

Dorks. The both of us.

Great commercial though. It really fits her. It's simple and pretty and dignified. I loved it.

Kinda wish they'd used all the Shambert animals though instead of just Delilah and the stand-ins they used. When I first saw the black and white collie I thought it was Hank but obviously it wasn't. Who gets disappointed that Hank the dog was left out of a commercial? A dork like me apparently.

I liked the song - although I was a little bummed not to be able to pick up on every word because it was just so hard to hear with everything going on. That's no fault of hers, it's the way it is at any show if you don't really know the music I guess. I am actually looking forward to hearing what she does with the new album. I think she looked very pretty in the pictures too - but I have to be honest, I was not crazy about the black dress she performed in. It just didn't do her justice. I think she looked a little thick and she really IS NOT THICK.

She's just one of those girls who looks the most beautiful in jeans and a cute top and a pair of boots. I wish I could pull off that look...lol

I loved Ran's new song, leave it to Ran to be able to take something as simple as a glance at dead flowers in the yard and be able to write a song about it, something tells me the live version of this song is going to far more telling than her performance was last night....I can't wait!!!!!!

wished she would have sang more like her, didn't care much for the new song. liked her dress though.

A sly guitar riff flirts with exploding, but that relief never comes. Lambert's tale of brokenhearted spite ("I'm driving through a hurricane, and all he can say is what a nice day," she snarls) is all about maintaining composure, even when you're nowhere near it. And that's an A.

Yes Renae is right!!! I did catch Ran at the MGM Grand yesterday. It was pretty cool. We got to meet a lot of people - Little Big Town, Keith Anderson, Kellie Pickler, Zac Brown Band, Joey & Rory, Bucky Covington, Trent Tomlinson and Jake Owen...to name a few :)

But I have to admit the most exciting was meeting Miranda. She was walking by with a group of girls (I believe one was her Mom). She had her sunglasses on and she was just walking along and someone yelled out her name. She kept walking and then a group of girls caught up to her as she was getting ready to walk past me. She stopped and took a picture with them and then I asked her if I could get a picture and she said yeah. Then she took her sunglasses off and let my Mom get a pic:

Then I said "Thank you" and told her good luck for tonight and went to walk away. As I was, I heard the girls who had ALREADY gotten their time with Ran say something about another picture or an autograph or something and Miranda said "Guys, I really have to go, I have somewhere I need to be." And then she walked off with her group. I really kind of felt bad for her because she had to speak up and say she had to go when those people had already gotten a moment with her. Luckily no one else noticed her (at that point) and she walked away, but I am sure people were catching her all down the walkway.

Anyway, it was a cool experience and I am pulling for her tonight. I was sad Blake wasn't there with her, but he had his concert in AZ last night. They said he was there on Friday night after a show he did in NM for a birthday party (I guess it was George Strait's) but he didn't come down to do the radio show. He was probably in his room recovering - lol.

Let's face it, in the country music world, Underwood can apparently do no wrong. (That's notwithstanding her shrieky rendition of Randy Travis' I Told You So and the fact that we here don't like her.) She is the current darling of country radio. Since her American Idol win, people have been fawning over her, claiming she is the reason they like country music. Not a good enough reason. Miranda Lambert is the anti-Carrie Underwood. Just as beautiful, with twice the pipes and triple the personality. Underwood may bash your headlights in, but Lambert will shoot you down just as soon as look at you. Which one sounds more country?
