I love Keith Anderson's music and his newest CD C'MON is really great. I think the writing on this CD is the best he's done. I get caught up listening to the lyrics and feel like I'm there in the story. His newest single "She Could've Been Mine" is a beautifiul song but unfortunately hasn't done well on the charts.
I think it's great that Keith and Blake are friends and have worked together over the past couple of years. When those two get together it's pretty hilarious because they both have a dry sense of humor. I would love to see them together in concert.
Althea, I had been meaning to ask about that cd was thinking about buying it. I knew you would be the one to ask.

I'm a HUGE Keith fan, too! I've seen him in concert 12 times over the years (will be 13 next month!) and have met him 10 times. He is such a nice man, and so very talented. And he gives the BEST hugs! I've gone to all of his fan club parties. His band is amazing! I'd love to see Keith tour with Blake, too...what a pairing that would be!

I've really been enjoying C'MON as well. It is definitely disappointing that "She Could've Been Mine" isn't doing better on the charts because it's a fabulous song. Keith sings it so tenderly and so sweetly you can hear the heartbreak in his voice.
I've never seen him live but I would love to. Wow, Robyn, 12 times you've seen him in concert! That's great!
I know, 12x sounds like a lot, but I've been following his career for four years so that's only 3x a year on average! LOL! (okay, so maybe it IS a lot! ) My husband doesn't get it...he thinks once you've seen someone once... you're good.

I love Keith's voice and he is definately nice on the eyes, i've only seen him once at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, he put on one heck of a show.
Keith is a wonderful songwriter and really good in concert. I saw him once last summer. Not too bad to look at either
I was privaleged enough to see Keith last year when he opened for Miranda! He is awesome. Great voice that goes right along with his song writing abilities. To see him and Blake together...now that would be awesome!
Blake and Keith would be a fun show! Rumor had it he was going to try to make it to the show in Chicago back in Nov. but that didn't happen, but we were psyched at the thought or seeing him there!

C'MON is a really good album.
If he is the guest at the party this year when I can't be there i'm just going to cry, that would be my dream show!
I think I may have been to more KA shows than anyone else, because he is usually around Okla. a lot, not so much lately.
I went and froze my butt off for the Podunk video shoot, it was a blast though! I am in the video for about half a second, lol.

I think I've seen him 10 times and had my 9th meet & greet which is nothing compared to most of the people on his board.
I've wondered if Keith would be one of Blake's guests...I'm not sure I can handle them being together on the same stage. They are definitely my two favs!!! Someone better have some smelling salts! LOL

Last nights show was very exciting. Not only did I get to see Keith but also Luke Bryan what a high energy show. Keith sang all the songs i've wanted to hear live. I caught several shots on my phone which I'll post if they come in clear enough. Luke Bryan's performance was awesome he puts on a really good show. Not someone I would have sought out prior now I will definitely see more of him. If you get a chance go you wont be disapointed.

I was there, too! Wasn't that an awesome show??? Keith was incredible, as always. It's too bad they don't do the meet and greets there anymore (unless you win a VIP pass), though. I can totally understand why they don't- it was so crazy- but for me the best part. I even emailed the station and suggested that they sell a certain number of VIP's at a higher price. I know I would be willing to pay the big buxx to get in on that party. And it'd benefit the charity.
BTW...ever get that video??? I want to see!!!!!!!

Keith Anderson: BLUES MAN!
Keith Anderson makes the most of some offstage time at three House of Blues venues . . . in one week.
Keith Anderson never went to Disneyland as a kid, but he got just enough of a taste of it recently when his tour took him to the Anaheim, Calif., House of Blues—right near Mickey and Minnie’s front door—to know what he’s been missing.
“It was cool to at least be in the area. We didn’t really have time to go in the park and do anything. But walkin’ around and seein’ everything kinda brought out the little kid and got the excitement goin’,” he says of the trip that also found him playing shows at the House of Blues in Los Angeles and one at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas—all during one week. Here’s more of what Keith had to say about his whirlwind week.

CW I know you played three different House of Blues venues in one week. Have you played others before doing the recent series of shows?
KA We’ve played the House of Blues in Houston and down in Mississippi. We’ve played in three or four of ‘em in the past. But this was the first time for those three, all in one week. It was really cool, especially havin’ Luke Bryan and Lost Trailers with us every night.
CW Does playing the House of Blues cause you to play even more blues feeling tunes than you normally would . . . although things like “wildflowers” are certainly pretty bluesy?
KA It’s pretty much the same. Our stuff’s got a real bluesy rock feel to it anyway. So we just do exactly what we do. And the fans comin’ in are all country fans, so we’re not tryin’ to change anything up. The whole vibe of those clubs is so cool. Even the way they decorate—the backstage areas and all the different green rooms. Even the hallways and stairwells are just so edgy and cool and rockin’. Just such a great vibe.
CW I know you and Luke Bryan worked on writing a song together on this trip. When you co-write with another artist, is it readily apparent who the song is better for?
KA It depends on who feels more comfortable singin’ it and, if it’s somethin’ we both just loved, it’d probably be whoever’s recording next. Just that kind of a deal. Especially if you have that chemistry where you’re writin’ songs you both love that much, you know you’re gonna continue writing. Hopefully one’ll be on one record and write another song for the other guy’s record.
Thanks for posting that, it was a great read! I'm really excited as I just learned Keith will be part of the Country Weekly Fashion Show at the Wildhorse during CMA fest! Me and my friends have tickets along the catwalk, so that should be FUN!!!

I loved that Blake had Keith at his party. He is a hottie! And he can sing! I first saw him last year in 2008 at Fan Fair, and he has a very good stage presence.

Had to revive this string to say that Monica (Northern Doll) and I will be seeing Keith tomorrow night here in Washington. I'm sure Monica feels the same in me saying we are lucky girls this week - Keith Anderson and Chris Young on Sunday and Blake on Tuesday!! Monica gets to meet Keith, and we both got our meet and greet for Blake. Monica and I hope to meet for the first time at Keith Sunday, right Monica?
I saw Keith in 2007 at the very same fair Blake is coming to next week. Good show. He wore a Seahawks jersey cause he is/was good friends with (is it Josh Brown?) He's not a Seahawk anymore whoever it was.
I lost my pics from that concert (Harddrive took a spill at the beginning of this year, and that was one I hadn't backed up! (lesson learned) But I have my scrapbook page with 3 whole pics on it. Have a look...
