I have gotten to Joe twice earlier this year....Erie, PA....free concert downtown and the following day at Quaker Steak and Lube
for a WGAR afternoon saloon show....He is awesome....It stayed after and signed every single autograph for everyone standing in line.....
And guess what, He is coming to the Tangier in Akron, OH next week for a benefit concert....and I am going to that also.....
RUMOUR has it....That Joe and Blake may tour next year together....that came from someone who travels with Joe's band....However,
nothing official yet....He said they were trying to find on more act....Wait and see!
WOW THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! I sure hope that person knew what they were talking about.
I can't wait for his new CD. Such a nice guy. I've had the pleasure of being able to hang out with him on a few occasions here in Az and in Nashville, he's a lot of fun and he has a great personality. He's another one with a very distinct voice. And I am just a sucker for long hair ;)
Joe added me on twitter a while back. He's pretty cool. I have always enjoyed his radio songs - I am thinking about buying the new CD. He killed me with "I'll Wait For You" !!!
I'm also a fan of Joe. His last album was incredible. I think his 'people' need to do a better job at promoting him. He's another artist that doesn't get the recognition he deserves, like someone else we all know and love?

Wow, you did get some great pics of Joe that day. Where were you sitting. We we all the way over to the right. I didn't get any photos (just a sunburn), but Ronda got some.
I've never been to New York, but I think I would chance it to see him perform.
I snapped some good photo's of him at the Riverfront Stage- You may have seen them already I think though. I love Joe Nichols!!! I'd like to see him in "Pure Country" too but i'm not really a city girl, so not sure I could handle NY!
(Joe Nichols photos are mixed in here and towards the end):
Ronda and I went to the Joe Nichols Fan Club Party this year and it was awesome. It was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame in the Ford Theater. Ronda and I were extremely lucky to have assigned seats that were front and center. Joe was less than eight feet away from us. He chatted with the fans and took requests. By the way, he is very funny. He started off the request section saying "Please don't request "The Baby"." I got a good chuckle out of that. This was my first time seeing him live and he is just as fantastic in person as he is on his CD's. He sang a few songs from his upcoming album. I think it's going to be a great album judging from the songs that he chose to sing. After the party we had our M&G's. Joe was so sweet. I got my hatch print autographed and a hug from him. I will be going again next year!
I just wish I could figure out a way to go see him perform in "Pure Country".
Broadway Joe Nichols Does
Pure Country
by Peter Cronin
Neil Haislop's Nashvill IQ
reports that Pure Country, the
1992 film starring Country Music
Hall of Fame member George Strait,
is being retooled as a Broadway
musical. In the role of Dusty
Chandler, played by Strait in the
original film, will be none other than
Universal Records South artist Joe
Nichols. The singer is reportedly
thrilled with the opportunity. The musical tells the story
of a burned-out country music star who quits the business
and searches for what he left behind. The book is cowritten
by Peter Masterson and Rex McGee, the original
film's screenwriter. Masterson will also direct. The music
will be written by Grammy Award nominee Steve Dorff,
with lyrics from Grammy nominee John Bettis. Two of
the film's songs—"Heartland" and "I Cross My Heart"—
will be included in the otherwise new and original Broadway
score. Pure Country is scheduled for a fall 2009 opening.

Hi to all of my BS Buds!
Thanks. Another good one from Joe. I'll say it again..Joe doesn't get the recognition he deserves...like someone else we know and love!
I look forward to Joe's new album.
I saw Joe when he played here at the county fair one year. Security wouldn't let people near the stage, they kept backing them up, but Joe wasn't having it. He said, "Come on ya'll get your butts up here closer, we're here to party!" Security wasn't happy, but there wasn't much they could do about it once everyone started heading to the stage. lol I enjoyed his show & he interacted great with the crowd.

I love him alot too- he doesn't come to Louisiana or the Gulf Coast nearly enough! The one time he came kinda close he was with Rascal Flatts, I think, and I don't really like them and didn't want to see him just open for them. I did see Joe in 2006 in Pigeon Forge, Tn at a music festival and he was wonderful. He is too funny and kinda a comedian like Blake.
Joe and Blake touring together would be neat!
That would be awesome, I sure do like Joe

Yeah I'll admit the facial hair is a bit distracting. ;)
Joe is very easy on the eyes. When it comes to Joe I like the clean look as well.
He's very good looking. I have to agree though - I like him better without the facial hair. He's got a killer voice too :)
~Sabrina~
Man am I glad Joe got rid of that facial hair....lol

Cool. New music from Joe. Sounds great!
Joe is going to be 60 miles south of Fargo but we have not figured out if we are going. So much going on. We do like his music.
I love him alot too- he doesn't come to Louisiana or the Gulf Coast nearly enough! He has been gone to long.
