Jimmy Wayne Meet Me Halfway
Is anybody following Jimmy Wayne 's Meet Me Halfway? He is walking from TN to AZ to raise awareness for the homeless especially at risk kids. He is walking and sleeping in a tent (some nights in a motel to shower and stuff) in this bitter cold. I think this is an amazing sacrifice especially in this bitter cold. Thank you. I just think this is a very important thing he is doing. Those of us that are from small town USA don't really get confronted with the homeless very often and we tend to forget about them. I never really thought about what happens to these poor kids aging out of foster care with no place to go. Alot of them have had a very rough life and are just turned out into the streets at the age of 18 with nowhere to go or noone to turn to. He is just trying to bring awareness to this problem in what I feel is an amazing way.
