Jake is sooooooooooooo fun live! Seen him 3 times and it was a blast. You will not regret catching a show. Bought his guitarist and beer and he hung out awhile with us. He was really cool too.

Men beware, Jake is really sexy live and the ladies go crazy. i mean we were like in pain.

Do you know I have yet to pick up either of his albums? I really need to get out and do that this week! I know I am going to love them. He is such a doll and I love the music of his that gets radio time. I just keep forgetting to pick up the album(s)!

I love Jake Owen. Would love to meet him sometime. His two albums are totally awesome! My fave songs include "Nothin' Grows In Shadows", "Yee Haw" and "Every Reason I Go Back."

Jake is my second fav! Just got to see and meet him in Portland, and will see him the night before our Blakey in Florida! Yipee. He's been performing a bunch of new songs he's been writing. A number of you tube video's are available with these new songs. I've got 2 on my youtube account www.youtube.com/pearlms1974 and there are also some on a user named sexycookielady. Check them out! Some good songs!

Anyone else going to a double header in Florida in December? Jake and Blake make me do crazy things like fly from Seattle to Florida in December for my birthday to gift myself my 2 favorite country boys in 2 seperate concerts.... (bonus entertainers of Craig Morgan and Jason Michael Carroll, too) December 11th - Jake in his hometown of Vero Beach,and December 12th - Blake at Rock Crusher Canyon.

At least Vicky, Lisa and I are planning both, right girls?

So, went to the concert tonite - Jake Owen, James Otto, and Caitlin and Will. I will write more tomorrow or Tues, and post a link to my pics, but man!!

And what can one say about Jake Owen. Gorgeous smile! He was having sound difficulties tonite. First 2 songs, we couldn't hear him. After that, they couldn't hear themselves. So, he said he felt bad - cause he cut the show a little short, so he stayed and signed and talked to everyone that wanted to stay. It was very quick, but I told him he sounded great, and that he could do it with his eyes closed (Later, I thought Blake would make that a THATS WHAT SHE SAID JOKE!!) Anyway, he said Oh Thank You sweetie, and gave me a totally awesome hug!! A Real full on AWESOME hug. Mom snapped a pic of us chatting. Its awesome. I cant figure out how you guys get your pics posted here, so here's a link to a couple twitpics...

Oh, lucky Pearl!! That will help the wait til Blake! His fc is new so they don't have the m and g thingie down yet. He supposedly hangs tho so I would try to get there early and stay after- just keep eyes and ears open! eta: I love his sense of humor too. Almost as cool as BS. My fave was they were asking him about his pup. He said the pup was better behaved after being neutered and said he too might be if he were too, just saying LOLL!

I second all of that Lisa!! Very Very hot! Kinda wish those leather pants were on him and not the girl. :) I'm actually seeing him this Sunday!! Very excited! Think I have a chance to meet him somehow?

Sabrina, 'Startin' With Me' is a fantastic first CD. His second one was released a month or so ago, 'Easy Does It'. I'm sure you'll enjoy both.

Thanks for the info on him. It was neat to read all of that. I didn't realize he was only 2 months older than me! He is definitely a doll and I love his songs. I am going to have to get his album :)

I don't know too much abot him, to be honest. I like his songs on the radio and I think he's a cutie. (Nothing compared to Blake though....sorry!)

But then I met him at the MGM Grand during the ACM weekend and he was an absolute sweetheart! And he smelled good. And his smile about knocked me over. lol

He stopped and took pictures with us and really just seemed gracious that we wanted some of his time. I'm a fan now :)

I like Jake. I saw him with Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson about a year and a half ago. Great smile. Blake is still my one and only though!

He is a cutie! Saw him on the CMT Tour with Sugarland & Little Big Town and he is a fine looking man and great singer :)
