Did you all here Garth is coming out of retirement (again)...Playing Las Vegas 3 nights a week FRI, SAT, SUN for 15 weeks each year for the next
five. Garth told owner, Steve Wynn that he could not afford him but said " I was wrong" ....

Does this give you a "chill".....reminds of the time ELVIS was on the strip.

I did hear, and I'm planning to make the trip to Vegas at least once a year for the 5 years he's there. Tickets go on sale Oct 24 for the first round of shows. I'm hoping to get tickets for the first night. Keeping fingers crossed!

Hey-April or May might be time for another Garth trip. I know I want to go several times while he's there. Cheryl can't make it in December, but April or May might be do-able. I'd love to see you guys again! Let's stay in touch as you make your 2010 plans!

I sat in the virtual waiting room for 2 hours this morning. I guess the site and phone lines all crashed and burned!
Did anyone get tickets?
I think we will have to wait till the next round and go in March for my B-day.
It is killing me to know there are GARTH tickets on sale today and i'm not getting any!

I managed to get tickets, but it was rough. I went in at 8:00, and sat in the virtual waiting room for an hour. At one point, a ticket screen came up, but it was for La Reve. I was also on the phone dialing over and over and never got through. I finally gave up, and figured I'd go later in the year. Made a trip to Wal-Mart and Home Depot, came back and tried again for tickets. Eventually, the ticket screen came up for Garth, and I managed to get a ticket for the late show on 12/12, and for the show on the 13th. Not great seats, but I don't care-I just want to be there!!

Didn't anyone warn those people about Garth fans? They should have been better prepared. Very frustrating.

FYI, I just went to the Wynn site again, and you can sign up there to receive email announcements about when future tickets go on sale.

We went through Youkon, Okla home of Garth on our way to Ada. His name is on a huge tank of some kind.... See you soon
