Diamond Rio

Hey all! I just wanted to say those of you that are on twitter to make sure you follow DiamondRioBand. This is the actual Diamond Rio band even though they are not verified. They just started using twitter. Anyway, the reason why I am plugging them is because they were in Wheeling, WV recently at the Wheeling Island Casino. I twittered that I was going to see them and I wanted them to sign my book "Beautiful Mess: The Story of Diamond Rio". Well, when I was at the show, they were talking about twitter and they pointed me out and invited me backstage after the show to get my book signed. See, following your favorite country acts, gets you in with the band! I was beyond thrilled and had no idea because I didn't check my twitter account but they put on their twitter page that they were going to look for me there. It was awesome and I will never forget them and their kindness to their fans!

Somehow I have missed this thread until now. That is such a cool story! I have always liked Diamond Rio. My Dad was a big fan when I was younger and I have heard probably every song they ever put out! I wish they would put out some new music (haven't heard any in a while). They are one group I would love the chance to meet!
