I'd love to go.......but it is way up north for me. I am in the southern part of Illinois. I don't know why........but Blake really doesn't come to Southern IL much. He comes to MO and that is usally when I have to see him........doesn't come to Southern IL. Wish he did. Hope you have a great time at the show!

I really enjoyed myself at the Moline show last night. I hadn't been to a Blake show (or any other concert) since early June, so I was starting to get the shakes. I had a meet & greet which is always a fun start to the night. Blake and I chatted a little bit about the opening show at the Cowboys Stadium because I had him sign a commemorative "inaugural event" dealy they passed out at that show. He said it was one of the coolest things he's done in his life. Then a nice squeeze that melted away all the stress and crabbiness from the work week and I was on my way.

I didn't see the Lost Trailers because I needed food, but what I heard of them from the concourse sounded good. Blake hit the stage and though I wished it was a full show, he made the most of his slot. A lot of people around me were more interested in talking through the entire night than actually paying attention to the musicians (a pet peeve of mine), but I got a little less annoyed when they were saying things like "wow, he's a really good singer" or "I like this guy..."

The setlist order is probably off, and I'm not sure I remember them all, but I know he did the following:
- The More I Drink
- I'll Just Hold On
- Goodbye Time (my favorite - gives me chills every time)
- Nobody But Me
- Austin
- Some Beach
- the Free Credit Report bit (people around me were howling)
- Home
- Hilbilly Bone
- She Wouldn't Be Gone
- Ol' Red

This was my first time seeing Martina and that teeny, tiny woman sure has some pipes. For me, there was too much going on w/ the production and it was a little bit distracting, but overall, a really impressive set. I just think that when you've got a voice like that, you don't really need the gimmicks. However, one of the gimmicks had a fun Blake reference. For Concrete Angel, she comes out over the crowd sitting on a neon crescent moon to a smaller, revolving stage near the back of the floor. After she finished the song she said something like "now you can say you've been mooned by Martina McBride...much better than being mooned by Blake Shelton, just trust me on that." The highlight of her set for me was the closing song before her encore - A Broken Wing. Wow.

I had to do a lot of singing on the way home to stay alert. If anyone's curious, I sound *just* like Martina when I'm alone in my car. I think Blake and I should do a duet.

Sounds like a great time. Thanks so much for sharing, Blake can make you melt. Love Goodbye Time our favorite. We have seen Martina she does have an amazing voice. So glad you had a great time love to hear all about the Blakes concerts. Pet peeve also of people talking and not listening to one note I wish I would have duct tape at that time. Home again from our weekend trek to Moline and St. Paul MN! Was an awesome weekend and loved the shows! Loved Blake's set and he's just so darn fun!! Took lots of pictures

Thanks for the review & pics. Nice. Glad you had good time. I am just upset that Martina cancelled concert here in Birmingham on the 13th.
