Yall I know im a little late on this post but I was at the Crawfish fest to see Blake Saturday and he put on a great show..I didnt get to meet him because I havent renewed my membership yet..

Jenny I saw you waiting by the backstage area but I didnt come say hey..I dont know why..I know I should have though..

I finally got to meet Frog Lady & susbuff. I also met Samantha (Frog Lady’s daughter). We stayed at the same hotel. As all BSer’s are, they were super sweet.

We got to the gate about 730 where Unicorn was waiting for us. Picked up M&G & went to meet everyone. I got to meet Jenny, Lisa, Trouble, and a few other BSer’s that I can’t remember right now. There were about 12 BSer’s and I heard Kevin say that there were 30 passes. Talked to Kevin for awhile and got Monique & I’s picture with Kevin. Finally it is time to meet Blake. Of course as Blake is nearing, I do my usual: Yell, Hey Sweetie. He smiled. Jen was first. Blake was kneeling and starting to stand up & I yelled, she wants a hug. He hugged her and then bent down and looked like he kissed her, maybe on the forehead. I talked to Rob while waiting in line. Monique went first. We both got our newsletters signed. He started to sign the back and Monique said please sign the front. Blake asked her if she and Kevin were getting married. He said let me hug you real tight and make him jealous. Blake is always kidding. I didn’t get to talk to Beau, cause he came by when it was my turn. Later I did get a pic of Phillip and Beau and got Beau to smile. I walked up to Blake and gave him some small John Deere Christmas decorations. I then said you are going to like what I got you and opened up the quilt. He loved it. We spread it out so Kevin could get the picture. I told him I had Monique and I’s pic on it so he would be reminded of us. I asked him where he had his camo quilt. He said, It's on my bed & I use it cause, I think he said someone else takes the covers, I am not sure, and of course he named that person. I told him then he won’t forget me. Kevin didn’t say anything but I knew he was fixin’ to get antsy, so I told Blake I wanted my big hug and I got it. I did also tell him I loved him. As I rounded the corner, there was Phillip. We had a nice little chat.

Our seats were on the front row right in front of the woofer speakers. We did have a good place to see Blake. I have some videos I will download later. The video is great on some but the audio ain’t too good because of the speakers. I think the woofers interfered with the digital signal, cause some were out of focus. I did get to hear IJHO, even the choir in the end. It was beautiful.

I didn’t get to talk to Tracy except after, we yelled at each other across the stage. I brought him a cup that said “coonas*.” He loved it and said when he would drink his beer he would think of me. Rob talked to us after and I told him we had not met the new guy yet. He introduced us and spoke to us for awhile. I think he told us everyone called him Polk’ whatever. He is from San Antonio, TX and he used to play with Teri Clark. I got a good pic of him for you all. I got a play list.

What can I say? The concert was awesome. Best one yet. Blake went up one notch on his performance. He seemed to reach out to the crowd even more. I would like to say it was great to meet more fellow Bsers.

Glad you had a gret time! I wish I could have been there, but this one fell on my weekend to work, and it's kinda hard for me to get off if I don't request vacation time sometimes far in advance :( We had beautiful weather here this weekend too, so i'm betting the weather was nice in Biloxi as well.

so glad you had a great time. makes me want my show that much more. only 4 days to go.

Oh I almost forgot, I was able to say a little more to him than I did the first time I met him, haha. I managed to tell him about how I missed his last show in Biloxi because of being in the hospital and he said I am glad you are here and feeling better Sweetie. I would have fainted if I had been standing, haha

OMG the concert was Awesome!!!!!. I am still floating on Cloud 9. I got my M&G Hug!!, or more like a Squeeze it felt like. I can still feel the stubble burn on my cheek. My pictures of the show came out great and I can't wait for my M&G pic. I don't know if he has done it in other shows but I loved it when he did the Free Credit Report jingle. I am still rolling in laughter from that. He kept looking at me nd at one point he wiggled his eyebrows at me. I also think he did a great job doing the cover of Angel in a Centerfold. Maybe his next CD should be nothing but covers? Since he seems to do so many of them in his shows.

Ok so, 6:30 is a good time to be at will call to pick up a m&g pass?

Bigkhan, I am just lucky that Alabaster is centrally located, not too far from Nashville, Biloxi & Huntsville. As far as Louisiana, I don't see that Blake is going there and he usually goes at least 3 times a year. I can feel for you. You know if I get the chance I am gonna get pics & videos. I still ain't promising to behave although my daughter is going to be with me, but she is 26.

I am also seeing him in Tunica. This is almost a repeat of last year. I saw him 3 times in May before Fan Club Party. He just happened to be in Birmingham then.

I am coming but did not apply for meet and greet this time because I am going to see him in June in Tunica, so I'm waiting to apply for that date and hopefully I will get a meet and greet. Hope to see some of you in Biloxi.
